Flowers: July-September. Plant in part shade. HxS 15x30cm
This is a species for those with much smaller gardens! The dwarf plants have delicate, lacy foliage, like a Maidenhair Fern. A neat tidy and compact species with multiple flowers of lilac-mauve, appearing throughout the summer, over an slowly spreading mound of deep green leaves. Easy in rich moist soils at the front of a border, rockery or raised bed.
Care & Maintenance.
Dies back gracefully in autumn and can be divided in spring. Also comes true from seed.
