Flowers: May-July.  Plant in light shade.  HxS 1.25mx45cm

The tallest of the Himalayan Arisaema with the most heavily mottled stems (black mottling) and a large green spathe.  This impressive, architectural arum has spiralling upright growth with beautiful markings.  It is easy to grow in a moist soil with some shade or a woodland border.  They also look effective on banks.  Plant the tuber deeply, between 20-25cm/7-8″, and mulch well in winter to protect. Will be sent as a tuber.

    Care & Maintenance.

Cut off seed heads in autumn and sow seed fresh.  Always put a good mulching layer over the plant in cold winters.  Water regularly in very dry weather as the tubers appears.
