Flowers: May-July.  Plant in light or part shade.  HxS 60x30cm

This beautiful dragon arum has umbrella-like, dark green glossy foliage with 7-13 lance shaped leaflets.  The spathe is dark purple, sometimes green, with a white stripe.  It enjoys a soil with good drainage and lots of leaf mould and is easy to grow in woodland conditions.  Please order early as these are very difficult to pack when in flower.

    Care & Maintenance.

Plant deeply.  We would recommend at least 20cm/8in to the top of the tuber.  The tubers will slowly build up small offsets which can be grown on or you can propagate from seed.  The plant dies back naturally in autumn.
