Flowers: late March-June.  Plant in part shade or woodland.  HxS 30x30cm

This species makes a compact plant with neat deciduous foliage which is bronze when it emerges in early spring, turning green as the season progresses.  The small, pure white, cup-shaped flowers are held in open clusters and have prominent nectary spurs.  It is easy to grow in moist leafy soil in partial shade and is acid tolerant.  Organically grown in peat free compost.

    Care & Maintenance.

Cut down old foliage early in the spring, before the new flowers appear.  Spring is also the best time to divide the plants.  Full sun has a tendency to scorch the leaves, so avoid it when planting.
