Flowers: June-August. Plant in moist soil in part shade. HxS 1mx1m
This Chinese species has elegant, flat topped inflorescences of creamy white flowers and pinnate leaves with narrow toothed leaflets. It is both rare and choice. Easy, but slow growing, and best in a constantly moist soil. It is one of the more compact Rodgersias so is eminently suitable for the smaller garden or pond, if it is to be grown as a waterside plant. Organically grown in peat free compost.
Care & Maintenance.
Dies back in autumn and the leaves call be cleared then. It can be propagated from seed or careful division of the rhizome in spring.
