Flowers: June-August. Plant in sun or shade. HxS 25cmx1m
Tricoloured variegation of the leaves with greens, reds and yellows if planted in full sun. The pure-white single flowers in cone shaped spikes look stunning in mid-summer, after other waterside plants have finished flowering. The foliage is aromatic, smelling of citrus, hence the common name of Orange Peel Plant. This plant can be used in small ponds and is not invasive. Planting depth 10cm/4”. Can also be planted as a waterside plant.
Care and maintenance.
Remove old foliage in spring and split plants every three or four years to maintain vigour. May be divided after flowering or collect and sow seed.
