Flowers:  April-June.  Plant in part or full shade.  HxS  40x30cm

This is an easy and reliable plant for woodland conditions or under deciduous trees or shrubs.  The flowers are dark maroon with plain green leaves.  Trilliums bulk up quite quickly although plants can be reluctant to flower until settled.  Occasionally this species will throw green, white and yellow flowers!  It grows best grown in woodsy type conditions.  Organically grown in peat free compost. Hardiness rating H5.

    Care & Maintenance.

Propagate by collecting seed.  Plants may go dormant in late summer.  Tidy after dormancy or in the spring.
