Flowers: June-September. Plant in part shade. HxS 20x30cm
Collected in Honshu in 1997 (BSWJ 4972) by Bleddyn & Sue Wynne-Jones of Crug Farm Nurseries, this is a choice form with neat rosettes of hairy, purple-green leaves, which hug the ground and spread by stolons once established. Spires of white flowers follow throughout the summer, held well above the foliage. Easy and performs well for us in part shade under an Acer. Pest and disease resistant. Organically grown in peat free compost.
Care & Maintenance.
Tidy any old rosettes in spring. Remove flower spikes when finished. Tease out young stolons and pot up in early summer, ready for early autumn planting.
