Flowers: February-April.  Plant in part or full shade.  HxS 15x30cm

A small and very elegant hepatica, which blooms early in Spring, before the leaves appear.  It prefers well drained woodland soil, ample moisture and dappled light.  The flowers are usually pure white but occasionally develop shades of pink and purple.  A North American native, pest and disease resistant and easy to grow.  Organically grown in peat free compost.

    Care & Maintenance.

Clear old foliage in late autumn or early winter so the new flowers are not restricted.  Propagate from seed or very careful division when dormant.
