Flowers: April-May.  Plant in part or full shade/woodland.  HxS 45x45cm

This excellent epimedium is one of the best evergreen species, producing racemes of bright yellow flowers with tiny, dark nectary spurs over glossy green leaves.  It will bulk up to make a substantial plant in time.  Slug, snail, rabbit and deer proof, it can be planted in any soil type and is dry shade tolerant once established.  Organically grown in peat free compost.

    Care and Maintenance.

Cut back the old evergreen leaves in early spring to allow the new flowers plenty of room.  Leaves develop after flowering. Propagate by division after flowering or in autumn.
