Flowers: April-May. Plant in part to full shade. HxS 30x45cm
This is a compact and bushy hybrid which clumps up well and grows more vigorously than other Epimedium grandiflorum hybrids. The bright red flowers are eye-catching and certainly brighten early spring. This hybrid is an herbaceous one but is reliable and easy to grow in smaller gardens. It is also drought tolerant once established. Organically grown in peat free compost.
Care & Maintenance.
Cut down old foliage early in the spring, before the new flowers appear. Spring is the best time to divide the plants, which have very fibrous root structures. We use an old saw!
