Flowers: April-May & September.  Plant in part or full shade.  HxS 30x60cm

Red-tinted foliage in spring turns to mid-green and then deep red, almost black in the autumn. It produces small, translucent orange flowers with yellow inner petals on wiry, red stems in spring.  Hardiness zone H6.  Pot size 1.5 litre.

    Care and Maintenance.

Cut back old foliage in late winter before the new flowers come through.  This is a good time to divide established clumps, which will root readily. Shelter from cold, dry wind.
