Flowers: May-June.  Plant in part shade or woodland.  HxS 30x30cm

This is the double flowered form of our native Lily of the Valley and is rare and very desirable.  It is tolerant of most conditions but particularly good on banks and under deciduous trees or shrubs.  The frilly double white flowers are held up above the foliage on short stems.  We supply flowering sized plants which soon bulk up.  The plant is deciduous and benefits from a good mulch each spring.  Ultra hardy requiring little or no attention.  Heavily fragrant, a sure sign that summer is on its way!  Organically grown in peat free compost. Pot size 1 litre.

    Care & Maintenance.

Tidy the old plants in autumn and mulch each spring.  Plants can be divided during dormancy and the ‘pips’ either potted or planted out.  Pips do take a few years to reach flowering size.  *CAUTION all parts are toxic if ingested.
