Arisaema candidissimum

Flowers: June-August.  Plant in light or part shade.  HxS 40x15cm

One of the loveliest Arisaemas, originating in Yunnan, China. It has a scented spathe, pink with white stripes, in mid-summer, followed by a single leaf.  Often very late to appear above the ground – sometimes into early June, then flowering very quickly. Choice and rarely offered.  AGM.  Hardiness rating H4. Will be sent as tuber.

Care & Maintenance.

Plant deeply if growing outdoors, as much as 10cm/4in deep.  Mulch in late autumn. Can be reproduced from seed, sown fresh.
