Native of the eastern USA, this anemonella produces single, cup-shaped pink flowers on finely branched stems with thalictrum-like foliage in spring and early summer. Flowers for a long period. Slow growing and ideal for the woodland border or under planting of shrubs. Also suitable for a shady rock garden. Moist soil preferred. Hardiness H6. Pot size 9cm.
Care and maintenance.
Propagate by seed and sow as soon as ripe or divide in early spring.
