Flowers: April-May. Plant in part shade or woodland. HxS 15x15cm
Collected in France by Frank Waley, during World War One. This is a very hardy and reliable variety with large, very pale, powder blue flowers. Easy to grow, it bulks up quickly in woodland or shady places and is dry shade tolerant once established. Enjoys an open sunny site when flowering with shade during the summer and goes dormant in mid-summer. Pest and disease resistant. Organically grown in peat free compost.
Care & Maintenance.
Carefully divide the rhizomes whilst dormant, anytime from September to January and replant where required. Very little maintenance is required.
