A name change from Trollius ‘Cheddar’ to reflect its origin. Much sought by gardeners for the pale yellowy-cream colour of its flowers, the colour of Cheddar cheese. During spring and summer the cup like blooms are held high above neat mounds of buttercup like, dark green foliage. Perfect for marginal planting or in containers with the compost kept moist. Prefers a moist soil in sun or part shade. Organically grown in peat free compost.
Care & Maintenance.
Cut back hard after flowering. Deadhead to maintain flowering period. Divide every three to four years, in the spring, to maintain vigour. Pest and disease resistant. Does not appear to set any seed.
