Flowers: April-October. Plant in sun or light shade. HxS 30x60cm
This native water forget-me-not has beautiful sky blue flowers all summer and enjoys damp soil or water. It is excellent for underplanting taller aquatics, particularly water iris. The plant has a compact, prostrate habit and can be used in small containers and bog gardens as well as ponds. It does get straggly in late summer, so prune back hard and it will flower again. Pot size 1 litre.
Care & Maintenance.
Remove old foliage in spring and split plants every three or four years to maintain vigour. May be divided after flowering or collect and sow seed. If planting as a marginal place approximately 8cm/3” deep.
