Flowers: April-May. Plant in full sun or part shade. HxS 60x20cm
Whereas snowdrops have three main petals and three more tiny inner ones, the six petals of the Loddon Lily are all the same length, with conspicuous green markings at their tips. It is a larger plant too, especially in the superior form ‘Gravetye Giant’, which is perhaps the finest of all the snowflakes. An easy-going plant that grows and multiplies freely in most gardens provided the soil is moist enough. Plants have been known to withstand flooding and standing water and it is an ideal choice for bog gardens and pond-side plantings. Multiple bulbs in a 1.5 litre pot. Hardiness rating H7.
Care & Maintenance.
So easy! Once they go dormant in mid-summer, lift and divide the bulbs. Pot up or plant where you want them to grow.
