This Cranesbill is another superb hybrid from Alan Bremner, in the Orkneys. It is a tall plant with large leaves and luminous bright pink-magenta flowers with a dark eye, similar to G. psilostemon but flowering for much longer without being so tall. It makes a good border plant which will take part shade and flowers over a long season. Grow it in any soil. Awarded an AGM at the 2005 RHS Geranium trial. Hardiness rating H7.
Care & Maintenance.
This cranesbill is very easy to manage. Remove old overwintered leaves in spring. Propagate by division in spring. Pest and disease resistant.
