Flowers: June-July. Plant in part shade. HxS 1.5mx30cm
A stunning Turk’s Cap Lily with mahogany-red flowers and golden spots. Martagon type lilies are stem rooting, so need to be planted 15cm/6in deep in good garden soil. They may take a year to become established and then are very long lived and will naturalise. A great butterfly plant which also attracts other pollinators. Grown organically in peat free compost. Hardiness H7.
Care & Maintenance.
Can be divided in late summer or early autumn, as the foliage dies back. Always plant deeply 15cm/6ins down. Enjoys a mulch in spring.
